Well this comes as no surprise but in the next couple of days William Weld will announce his candidacy to run for Governor against Eliot Spitzer and a little F.Y.I weld has been getting some phone advice from Karl Rove and also his involvement in the race so let's keep a real sharp eye in this important race and also keep an eye on weld & rove for their dirty tricks they might pull in this race.

As a former constituent of Weld's in Massachusetts, I'll admit that he's not too bad for a Republican. If you have to be stuck with a Republican governor, there are worse choices you could make. For instance, another term by Weld would be a breath of fresh air in comparison to Mittens Romney. Weld is sincerely pro-choice and pro-gay-rights, which I'm sure will tick of the right-wingers. But given that you have such a superb Democratic candidate in Eliot Spitzer, this election should be a no-brainer for most New Yorkers.
