Left and Right, No More For Me

There are always discussions that involve positions on issues. As a Congressional Candidate, I am involved with these discussions on a daily basis. I have learned a few things, one of which, is that it is in some people's eyes automatic to choose right over left, not based on issues, or positions but based on a presumed dominance of the term "right." So I am not on the left anymore, and I am not running against someone on the radical right.

I am now running as one on the correct side, and running against someone on the dangerous side. No more right or left for me. From now on, The Democratic philosophy that has been called The Left, for so long, will now be The Correct Position, not the Left Position. So when someone says to me, "You are on the left." I will say, No I am part of the Correct Position. The Neo Conservative Radical Republican Right, will now be The Party of Danger.

Why?
Iraq. The Correct Party Position, We were lied to and it is costing lives and the economic future of our nation. It is getting worse not better, and it is time to stop.
The Dangerous Party Position, Iraq attacked America on 9-11-01, Everyone saw the same intelligence and we are winning a war that was ended with "Mission Accomplished" a long time ago, and anyone that says different supports terror.

Which is correct and which is dangerous? Easy to see. But if labeled Right and Left? People choose Right, even though it is wrong. Stupid? Yes. True? Yes. How else would this country have gotten to the position we are in now?

Take any other issue you wish. Global Warming, The Budget, Tax Relief, Human Rights, Outsourcing Jobs, Social Security, Education, any position.

So from now on, I am a Democrat, but I am not on the Left, nor are any other Democrats in my eyes, We are on the Correct Side, and we are in opposition to the Neo Conservative Radical Republicans, who are not the Right, but a danger.
