I googled: mercury in milk, autism and the first site I tried was unavailable. Then an adobe which I downloaded said there is no connection to autism and mercury.

HOWEVER
Dr Andy Cutler PhD found himself sick with mercury poisoning and figured out how to get well in a book called 'Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment'

I heard of a British man who cured himself of ALKZEIMER'S by stopping his mercury intake.

Dr Amy Holmes MD, believes children who are autistic have a special reaction to mercury and other toxic metals and has ways of diagnosing it using hair, for example, and treating it with chemicals which take away the metals.
Some of these solutions act only on the bodies mercury, and do not reach the brain. Others attack the mercury that is in the brain. There are dangers to these medications and side effects, but used properly they will help children with autism to get better. But research is at a very early stage. Lots of statistics are not available.
Her phone no. is (225) 767-7433

Mercury is passed on from mother to child through breast milk which contains a lot of mercury.

Dental amalgams, Released into the air by coal burning plants, Fish and shellfish, tuna and swordfish, and some instruments and paints contain mercury.

Garlic is great as it can get rid of toxic metals built up in the body.

I am just beginning this research.

www.geocities.com gave me most of the above information. The garlic article that told me about its special abilities - is from a cooking magazine. My mother told me about the man with Alkzeimer's.

Anyone contributing constructively to this thread would be appreciated as it is a very important and also controversial subject. There are many different opinions. I welcome anyone's opinion. Even those who disagree.

Dr Paul Offit of Philadelphia's Children's Hospital writes in a short adobe that autism is partly genetic. (Some children getting it are predisposed to it, is what he means, I think. Others react to the environmental mercury.) He says that if one identical twin has it then the other has 90% likelihood of having it. In fraternal twins it is 10 %. I have a problem with this. Autism shows up later on in babyhood and only affects certain individuals. Maybe their genetic makeup makes them more prone to getting autism from the external source. In this case surely identical twins WOULD have more similarity in their allergic reactions than the other type of twins.

But he convinces me that the type of mercury in the flu vaccine is harmless. On the other hand the type that gets into the food chain can build up in the body and be toxic to humans, he says.

There is a time in pregnancy (the first three months) when a mother can pass on malformations and autism, it is believed. For example if she takes certain drugs then, like thalidomide, or if she has the rubella virus. Then again, if they are given RhoGam which contains the same type of mercury as the flu virus, they show no greater likelihood of having babies with autism, he says.

Dept of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Lund, Sweden (google 'mercury in milk')

www.ncbi

The concentrations of total mercury and organic mercury (calculated by subtracting inorganic mercury from total mercury) in blood and total mercury in hair were correlated with the estimated recent exposure to methylmercury via intake of fish.

There was no significant (correlation) between the milk levels of mercury in any chemical form and the estimated methylmercury intake.

A significant correlation WAS found between levels of total mercury in blood and in milk, with milk levels being an average of 27 % of the blood levels.

There was an association between inorganic mercury in blood and milk; the average level of inorganic mercury in milk was 55 % of the level of inorganic mercury in blood.

No significant correlations were found between levels of any form of mercury in milk and levels of organic mercury in blood.

The results indicated that there was an efficient transfer of inorganic mercury from blood to milk and that, in this population, mercury from amalgam fillings was the main source of mercury in milk.

Exposure of the infant to mercury from breast milk was calculated to range from 0.3 micro/kg X d, of which approximately one half was inorganic mercury.

This exposure corresponds to approximately one half the tolerable daily intake for ADULTS recommended by the WHO.

We concluded that efforts should be made to decrease mercury burdens in fertile women.

Thanks, Gabriellemy, I hope to get round to them. I am planning on getting to the cures asap. Herbal remedies for toxic metals. Unfortunately I am not a chemist, but I am not going let that get in my way.

TUNA and GARLIC

In our local grocery shop and in others nearby, which serve the poorest people, so I use them a lot, they sell lots of packs of three or more TUNA FISH and it is getting worse and worse. Before they sold chicken bits along side these TUNA bargain packs. They even have it written 'Chicken of the sea' so I was fooled by that thinking I was buying the chicken. But they don't sell the chicken any more.

My son loves tuna. Now I am going to have to buy small tins of beef, sardines etc and hope he likes them because the only thing he has eaten for breakfast has been tuna and corn recently. In the past week that is. I did not know how dangerous it was then. Before that he would not eat breakfast at all, but just have cocoa which I make with powdered milk. Anyone know about powdered milk?

In Japan they do not put garlic in food, but I cook Chinese food a lot, and Italian, so I put garlic in the food.
Garlic is great for Aids, Cancer, and TOXIC METAL POISONING.
In Japan they sell garlic in bottles and in other packs. This garlic is preserved in various marinades, often SWEET ones. Cancer is very rare (except smokers cancer) in Japan. The pickled garlics are very much part of the daily routine. They eat them as snacks, with meals etc.

In our street there are four boys. Two of them have autism. I spoke to a friend from the USA at church and she said 'All my friends sons have autism.' If it was genetic only, and not part of pollution, why have we suddenly got this rush of autism. I don't believe that we always had it but could not diagnose it. It is something you KNOW your child has. They drive you crazy because they literally cannot understand your instructions.

I tried garlic pills on my son as I am taking one a day. He refused it. I tried the garlic from the bottle. He refused the first couple. Then I continued to try and force him to do his best. He was interested when I said 'It makes you clever'. Now, my friends tell him 'It makes you strong' etc.
He HAS STARTED HAVING IT DAILY. He did not want to have it today, but I bribed him saying I would let him buy a little toy today if he took it. Yesterday after he had eaten it for the first time he wanted a toy while we were shopping. I would normally refuse, but I said 'Okay, I am so glad you ate the garlic that you can have one.' And so it goes....my experiment. Let's wait and see.
gabriellemy
just don't overdo the garlic - messing up his digestive sys won't help his health. garlic's oils are strong.

onion and honey are good for many things, too - but don't overdo them either.

and don't use pills when lecturing about pollution at the same time... and pills tend to be more concentrated.

and don't bribe: he may want to coerce you into buying something so bad he won't tell you when he starts feeling bad.

and its parenting basics - never bribe, never surrender. so what was that? his your child not some larvae experiment.
lazyboy
Sorry - did I miss something? Who is lecturing? I am doing my best for my child who has been unfortunate enough to have a condition that may or may not be related to mercury, which is in the food chain, and may have accumulated in his brain. Bribery is fine. I am willing to throw away thousands of yen per week in order to help him. Garlic makes people strong. The ancient Greeks used to eat 12 cloves before a Marathon. Nobody in Japan has said a negative thing about garlic. Stomachs are very strong. Honey is very bad for pregnant women. So do some research before making out that honey is good for everyone.

Bush bribes grown ups with 'Silver Ring Things' and Blair with 'Forty pounds for 16 year olds who stay on at school' and the PARENTS fall for it, despite it meaning that, for some unfortunates at the other side of the world, bombs will be dropped on them and women will give birth after nine months of waiting and look at what came out and say 'I guess we cannot use its organs, just get a cardboard box and we will bury it'. And they have to go home empty-handed. They do not even have the thought of a nice little angel in heaven because they gave birth to a 'mistake'.

Please, Gabriellemy...even if you have been assigned to me...by your superiors...you are not doing such a great job of it..
lazyboy
I made it fairly clear that my child would not even eat one garlic clove a day before I found a way of linking it to a reward. Operant conditioning. You learn about it in Education lectures at teacher training. Later the reward is praise. We do not live in a nice environment. There are cars everywhere and concrete. Buying things is what makes life bearable for Tokyoites. Do not tell me what I can or cannot do with my money, thank you.
lazyboy
I did not realize this would be hijacked to be about discipline. However, autistic children do not understand the things that ordinary children understand. And when they want something, rather like ordinary children but a bit more so, they will repeatedly ask for it, and if they do not get it will have a tantrum or cry for an hour. Like ordinary 6 year-olds the best way to avoid confrontations in shops about buying cheap toys, is to not go shopping with them. Leave them at home. For people in towns the shops are so near and often you have not choice but to take your child with you when you do the daily shopping. Maybe in the country people leave kids in the house more. I take him with me. He makes a fuss. I can afford to buy something for him if he has started collecting something he cannot avoid seeing in the shop. We don't live in Africa where the environment is not tempting, or where we have no money for food AND harmless toys. We are victims of the 'kaisha' who display childrens toys in grocer's shops so that mothers are harassed every time they buy bread or tomatoes. Sometimes the system is so weighed against the parents that giving in is not as bad for the neighbours (the screaming etc) as deliberately tempting a child and then refusing to buy something for them. The tempting is not done by me, but by the kaishas. The toys he collects are things he obssesses over. He needs to concretize everything in his mind. Trains, cars, helicopters. He needs to create a little world that he can understand and have control over. He then draws things and makes them. It is part of his education. I merely say that his good behaviour and good eating habits (garlic is difficult for children to like) have earned him the toy which I probably would have bought anyway. Jo Frost of 'Supernanny' fame in the UK, has lists of Top Ten Rules for everything and rule one is 'Praise and rewards'. She is talking about normal children. Words, star charts etc. That is meaningless to children who have autism. They only know about the things they see and pick up, it seems. I am no expert. I am trying my best to find a natural solution to an unnatural problem. I guess that makes me a bad parent in G's eyes. Too bad.
lazyboy
But if we are to go by Gabriellemy's system, do not TRY ANYTHING. Just leave everything just the way it is, don't even look for a solution, and don't dare try natural solutions. First try all the drugs to poison them with, and if one has not killed him or permanently damaged his brain, then good. The above doctors tell about their drugs which overdone can damage them and lead to worse behaviour. THAT is ALSO experimenting with them - but I can see that it might be an experiment worth trying to cure your child. We are all in the dark about autism, it seems. Personally, because Zionist Christian friends of mine were brainwashed into NEVER TAKING ANY DRUGS - I wonder if they know something WE DON'T. IE All drugs are poisons.
lazyboy
According to G above bribes are bad. I spent the last hour making tea, having it, talking to someone who phoned, and looking at books. (Multitasking?) So I guess this did not take me 3 seconds like her 'instant answer' googling to get whatever you want to prove...regardless of its veracity...from the most suitable site. No, I got my only books available in my room because I was not able to access the internet at the time, someone was using the computer.

Bribes (''Toddler Taming'' - Dr Christopher Green M.W., B.Ch., B.A.0., M.R.C.P. (I) M.R.C.P. Page 62
Boosting the best - Reward the behaviour you want with encouragement, interest, warmth, fun and attention. More tangible rewards may be given, even bribes.

Page 65
There is a very subtle difference between reward and bribery. Most behavioural experts get quite upset at the thought of bribing children and encourage REWARDS. A bribe is seen as a form of blackmail, where the child is told that he can only have something after he has performed a certain task. The behaviour modification reward is given when there is no talk of what will happen until after the good behaviour has appeared and then the reward comes as an immediate and unannounced bonus. Very often the difference between bribes and rewards is far from clear and though I would prefer rewards, if a bit of good old-fashioned bribery achieves the desired effect, then GO FOR IT.

Success and failure. Today I tried to push sardines or beef instead of his usual tuna fish, onto my son. But he insisted on liking 'fish' by which he means tuna fish. So I made sure he took a piece of garlic first. He did this obediently.

Now I have another problem. Because he gets very bad chest infections once he gets a virus or cold, (like myself), I have been giving him fish oils. This year he had no infection at all and no usual hay fever. My husband only got hay fever. I usually get it but this year I too was taking fish oil and I only had one day's sinus sickness. This saves us a lot of inconvenience with hospital visits and then the expensive of the medicines they subscribe, and the risk involved (I am allergic to loads of medicines.)

But today I had a nasty shock to read that even the fish oil supplements may contain mercury. (Note* only since January have we been taking them and my son has had his autism for years).

I am going to follow this up with some information concerning this problem and also the fact that some herbal remedies may have side effects, just to be fair to the other side and to provide as much information as possible. But in the following article there is no mention of the way conventional medicine also OFTEN has bad side effects, and OFTEN fails to cure people/kills them in the long term.

Also they say that clinical trials are not compulsory for herbal cures, this is not contradicted by me, but MANY of the herbal cures HAVE been on trials and have been found to be 100 per cent effective, although caution in some herbal remedies is advised because of side effects especially to do with blood pressure, the digestive system, and the danger to unborn or breast-fed babies, or their mothers who may have complications after childbirth, like anemia.

I got the following by googling 'herbal remedies' with 'mercury'.
tomhye
If I remember correctly some fish oil supplements are mercury free, it's a matter of the environment. Look up the debate over wild and farm raised salmon.

Note: regulated by the US Government may mean that favour is given to pharmaceutical companies who donate to governing parties, eg republicans.

www.rheumatology
Prescription and OTC (over the counter?) medications are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), an agency of the United States government.
Before prescription drugs are made available to the public, they must be tested to assure that they are safe and that they work. Herbal and natural remedies are essentially unregulated and do not go through this screening process.

What's in the bottle?
Regulated prescription and OTC medication drugs are purified compounds. This means they are tested to determine safe doses, and each dose must be consistent in composition and activity. For example, each time you take an aspirin, the same amount of medicine is delivered to your body.

In contrast, herbal extracts may contain hundreds of chemicals, each of which can affect your body. Analyses by government and consumer organizations reveal that the contents of many herbal products do not match the ingredients listed on the labels. Therefore, one bottle of a herbal remedy may contain vastly different ingredients from the next bottle.

What else is in the bottle?
Herbal medicines can contain dangerous contaminants, including pesticides, lead or mercury. More disturbing is the inclusion of prescription or OTC drugs in some 'natural' herbal preparations. Studies have shown that herbal products can contain cortisone-like hormones, diuretics, Viagra, aspirin and/or tranquilizers. A number of natural herbal remedies for arthritis have been found to contain conventional arthritis medications such as indocin and prednisone.

Are herbal medicines safe?
We simply do not know.
Manufacturers are not required to perform safety studies before selling herbal or other natural products, nor are they required to maintain records of adverse events or to report them to the FDA. Many people incorrectly assume that remedies used for centuries must be safe. Unfortunately, we have learned in recent years that many traditional herbals have dangerous, even fatal, side effects.

For instance BIRTHWORT or SNAKEWORT, made from extracts of Aristolochia plants, have been used all over the world for thousands of years. We now know that these plants contain aristolochic acids, substances that can cause kidney failure and cancer of the kidney. Yet herbal remedies that contain aristolochic acids can still be purchased in retail stores or on the internet.

Herbal remedies for arthritis

Herbal remedies promoted for the treatment of arthritis include, ginger, Chinese Thunder, God Vine, willow bark extract, feverfew, cat's claw (also an Aids-fighter) and stinging nettle.

Ginger and willow bark
While there is some evidence that ginger and willow bark extract may relieve pain, these remedies contain chemicals that are similar to conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory compounds (NSAIDs) like naproxen (Aleve) and ibuprofen (Advil). NSAIDs may cause inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Further, they can interfere with blood clotting and lead to fluid retention, causing problems for people with high blood pressure or heart failure.

Chinese thunder God Vine also relieves the pain and inflammation, but chronic use may cause weakening of the immune system and bones (osteoporosis).

Supplements for arthritis
SAMe S-adensylmethionine, a naturally occurring chemical in the body, has been used in Europe for some time as a prescription drug for depression as well as a relief for arthritis pain and inflammation. While the role of its anti-depressant action in providing subjective relief from arthritis is unclear, there are other deterrents. It is not efficiently absorbed into the body when taken by mouth, and it may cause gastrointestinal distress as well as extreme agitation. They do not contain the quantity of SAMe on the bottle.

Chondroitin and glucosamine supplements are promoted either separetly or in combination, some studies show they can relieve arthritis pain but others showed no benefit.

However these products appear to be safe and well worth considering for people who have severe pain despite conventional treatments.

Fish oils that contain omega-3 fatty acids have been reported to relieve pain and joint....

Fish Oils continued

..joint tenderness in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The benefits are modest and may take several months to appear. Side effects include gastrointestinal distress and a fishy odor to the breath. Those who consider fish oil should remember that some fish oil supplements may contain high levels of mercury or vitamin A.

The mercury-autism link has been hotly debated, and mostly denied, but lots of people still wonder. The most common source in young children, ironically, is in the immunizations that protect them from common, deadly childhood diseases.

From what I've read, they have worked hard to eliminate the mercury/ thymerisol (not sure of spelling, but it's a preservative commonly used in developing vaccines.

But, I think everyone agrees, we need to keep our young children away from exposure to mercury. If some gets spilled at school, like in a science lab, there is a massive cleanup from the haz-mat team.

(See note at bottom)

Nature Made/Pharmavite is the type I buy and it came up along with many other companies as Best Choice on their list.

Incomplete data was given by:

Holland and Barrett
Major Pharmaceuticals
Natural wealth
Nature's Bounty
NOW Foods
Nutrition Bounty
Omega Protein
Physiologics
PureTek
Puritan's Pride

Rexall Sundown
Solgar
Sonne's Organic Foods
Springreen
Target (their Salmon Oil, Extra Strength Fish Oil) whereas the CODLIVER OIL, EPA, FISH OIL and OMEGA-3 were on the Best Choice list.
The Vitamin Shoppe
VE Irons
Vitamin World

Worst Choice (ie they did not respond)
Kmart
Rite Aid
Solaray
Twinlab

Environmental Defense solicited information from 75 companies. The majority are purifying their fish oils to meet stringent standards of safety.

Note: Kmart is (I believe) a large cheap goods outlet. This would attract the poorest families, if they have cars to take them to the stores. It might also attract the richest (who know well how to save money). Therefore it is necessary for us to GET INFORMED if we wish to protect our children.

That reminds me. When I was growing up pencils were all chewed by children. IMAGINE IT. We had no idea. Then we found out that lead was poisonous back in the 60s. Nowadays you do not see chewed up pencils in Japan, or in the UK....even if the pencils have not got harmful metals in them.

....Bernard noted that the growing prevalence rate of autism closely matches the introduction and spread of thimersol-containing vaccines and that autistic symptoms generally emerge at the time the child is given these vaccines....(So Evelyn was right!! At least according to this source.)

....Noting that low doses of mercury tend to harm genetically susceptible individuals, Bernard pointed out that autism has been recognized as one of the most heritable of all neurological disorders and is strongly associated with familial autoimmune disorders.

(An immediate ban on the dangerous vaccines was called for in October 2000)

Dr Stephanie Cave of Baton Rouge, Louisiana told the group that in her experience over a number of years in treating 400 autistic children with various modolities, she found no modality which was more effective in a great many autistic children than mercury detoxification.

(Boys are four times more likely to have autism than girls.)

I have done a lot of research today, and typed it on my computer. I have to internalize it a bit. And while all this is going on in my overworked brain, I am looking for alternatives to tinned tun and looking for ways to get my son to eat Vitamin C, and ways to find out what contents are in the Mineral Supplements of 'Nature Made' at the newly refurbished chemists. My son refuses to come into shops so he sits on the bike and everyone thinks its dangerous as the bike is on the stand, so I have to explain 'He doesn't want to come in and he has autism' as I lock my bike and let them internalize THAT. And when I get home my husband thinks I am crazy because I am bothering to search for a cure. He was always like that, says my husband. I recall vividly that until the age of around 3, my son let me read to him, forced me to read to him in English every night and then suddenly stopped and went to school and started covering his ears etc. And only within the last YEAR has my husband really thought he had Autism. And he is now a 6 year old in a special class. The other parents were chatting about Vitamin C coincidentally today, so I said that I thought autism was a poisoning of the brain with mercury, that mercury is in milk, and in tuna fish, and that garlic is the best I can come up with so far. Two parents were clinging on to my words, one his son has just been sent to this school because the dad says he just didn't understand anything, he is two years older than my son. This woman thinks that her daughter is just stupid, I think, because her language developed late. I tried to get out of her if the child has autism and she said she thinks so. I told her I was studying it. Back home I get told I am crazy. I have read of people who cured their children, but I am told not to bother, because he was like that when he was born. Well, nobody told us and he had regular checkups all his toddlerhood. It was at school, aged 3, that the problems manifested themselves. The classical autism problems but not very pronounced. And disguised by the fact that he has two languages to learn.

But I am threatened with being taken to the mental home as another John Nash case, if I study up on it, threatened by my family. See how the fix is in?

It reminds me of Aids. The 'mysterious' cause. Actually, the children got it with injections. 100 times the recommended daily mercury intake for ADULTS was given to them in one day. I call that POISONING ON PURPOSE. I am suspicious why all the nicest people I know have it in their children, but no people who are on the 'other' side. But of course, I am not going to say that or I will be carted away straight away. The lack of a simple solution. All the children developing different symptoms at different levels, but all basically under one umbrella EXACTLY LIKE AIDS.
And we know the GOVERNMENT DELIBERATELY INVENTED AIDS. We have the proof. We have the leaks. Trojan Horse. It is too secret to be allowed on the internet. But it is out there. People KNOW.
lazyboy
The children who have autism pick and choose the wrong foods, and are helped by the Japanese shops, including chainstores, selling loads of the wrong foods at cheap prices and not offering any alternatives. Tuna or Tuna. Great. No more chicken in the world. Why not? Ah, right BIRD FLU. That's it. Birds are dangerous. We all MUST EAT TUNA. And if you want to eat sardines you have to scour the shelves for a cheap one. And anyway the autistic children PREFER TUNA. baseball_bat.gif

I will try fried bacon tomorrow morning for breakfast now that at last he will eat breakfast and not just live on cocoa made with powdered milk, which I thought might be better than cow's milk, since, being in Japan, I trusted that they would not DELIBERATELY PUT MERCURY into the powdered milk. But who knows.

The thing is METALS. Mercury gathers itself in the brain and there seems to be a swop of mercury between the brain and the blood in both directions, but the only medicines they have will only act on the body, no cure for the mercury on the brain, and no volunteers to donate their brains for a few minutes for analysis.

Now it gets a little more complicated. There are lacks of some metals including zinc, magnesium, manganese, vanadium and chromium. Therefore mineral supplements would be a good idea IT SEEMED. Then I recall that copper is one of the metals that autistic children have in excess and supplements would be DANGEROUS.

There is a lot on VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS which I will look into at a future time. One vitamin they do not seem to have enough of is C and the other is probably E.

One woman claimed she cured her child completely by taking him off dairy products and the doctors all poo pooed her theory. But her child had had diarhoia, and my child has never suffered from that except for one day or two.

Then there is the question of iron. It is present in large quantities in pasture and forages, and they even may be putting it in the water. Forget Chitigov and his ricin. The GOVERNMENT CAN POISON THE WATER SYSTEMS.

And by the way, on the cow page, it said that mineral supplements containing PHOSPHATES may have high levels of iron as impurities.

On the same website it said that the negative effects of iron can be counteracted by adequate levels of Vit E (again). But iron also has a negative effect on the dastardly COPPER. See, it gets really involved.

And high levels of copper and iron are antagonistic, on this veternarian website, to ZINC.

So, all in all, iron is not good news for autistic children, and nor is copper.

I went to the chemist and the Japanese man in his 60s who reads the paper in English when I am there sometimes (Maybe just to impress me) made me write down COPPER. Because I told him I HATED copper. If there was any COPPER in that product, because of my child's autism, I would refuse to BUY IT. They are always impressed with people who won't buy things, because buying things is all you can do all day in Tokyo.

doh.gif

Now I will go back to him tomorrow and send him off with 'IRON' I HATE IRON. And we will see what he does. He may have a heart attack. Perhaps I should wait a week.
lazyboy
Then, the week after that I will go to the chemist, because I just remembered the PHOSPHATES. I wonder if that is even on his translator machine, that I have a sneeky feeling he keeps in his car...he wondered off to the car park soon after our little tete a tete.

So I will have to write Phosphates: We hate Phosphates in our family. Sorry. Try again.

And, I must mention this, another mineral that we lack, like and need, is selenium, which together with cobalt and (here it comes again) MAGNESIUIM can be INDUCED by iron intake IN COWS.

See, iron has some good points. I am thoroughly confused. I think I will leave out the iron still and just pick and choose the ones we need.

I bet the NATURE MADE 'minerals supplement' is going to be a failure. blink.gif

I have just read Kazuo Ishiguro's 'Never Let Me Go'. He is the writer of 'Remains of the Day'. I really loved that book, although 'enjoy' is not the word. It has a clear message. A very Japanese message...even though he is an Englishman now, and since the age of four. That message is 'Sho ga nai'. It cannot be helped. That is what people say whenever there is something 'kurishi' (difficult to put up with). They are very good sufferers, long sufferers. It is a good message.

But, as a parent, I am motivated by love of my child, and anger that his head is full of mercury. I am angry that he was not born like it but was given it by our 'advanced health systems'. I am angry that thousands upon thousands of other children are getting it in increasing numbers.

When I see him come home from school and reject his grandfather's offer to lift him off his bike because he does not like being TOUCHED, although he will let me, or even demand me to help him off it, when I see that he cannot cope with anything other than his daily routine, he just has to do things as they are always done, no stopping off at shops, no visiting anyone and no going to the park on his way home from school, and when I see him put every effort into climbing the stairs, putting one foot in front of the other, THEN I see that he needs to have that poison chelated, detoxified or whatever they call it. True, there is no drug, so far as I can tell, that will take it out of his brain directly. But detoxification of the body is possible. And the mercury goes in both directions across the brain according to one of the last couple of sources (maybe the one with the story of the woman who cured her son at the bottom of it). Mercury can be got rid of...and it does not happen overnight, and no doubt it is impossible to rid the body of mercury completely, but we can get it down to more tolerable levels.

If it works, as Dr Christopher Green says, GO FOR IT.

God does want us to accept certain crosses, true, like the things that happen that permanently damage people, he does not want us to reject every cross as too unbearable. But, on the other hand, I am certain that he wants us to be well, mentally and physically. He gives us plants that heal, traditional healers, and the internet.

Why should we just let the government get away with dumbing down and poisoning the brains of our children?

The British people have suspected the MMR jab (all in one) for about a decade now. Propaganda was produced of people whose children nearly died of one of the diseases it prevents. Propaganda. They want you to have the jab. They seriously want you to have it. In the UK people wanted a more expensive form in which the jabs were given on three separate days, months apart. But it all ends up the same. People asked Blair if he had his son injected with the three-in-one jab, or another form. He REFUSED TO DISCLOSE ANYTHING AT ALL. For all we know the elite are not even having the jab at all because they KNOW. Secret societies.

In the meantime, we should avoid all jabs if they contain mercury, if we want to help our children IMO. NO MORE FLU SHOTS. Not unless you get a written guaruntee, signed by the doctor, that there is no mercury in the jab.

Niniku Tamarizuke. That is Japanese for the Chinese sweet pickled garlics in bottles, which you can buy cheap at the store across the road. My son will eat them (one for breakfast) if he knows he is going to get something later - a reward. I don't know if you can get them in America. And remember China is the ENEMY. So you may have to buy one hundred thousand bottles of it in case the war comes just when your son is getting better.

Fried garlics. Cooked garlics are almost as good for you as raw ones. A Korean told me that Kento would eat them fried. He did. With his tea he ate a lot of fried garlic.

Soy Milk. See how good Japan is. They sell this alongside ordinary milk at ALL the grocery shops and chainstores. And tofu. And miso. All delicious and very healthy. I put my son on soy milk yesterday.

I recall well that when I first read 'mercury in milk' and googled it, many months ago, I immediately stopped the milk. He drank gallons of it before then. He almost survived exclusively on milk made with cocoa. The skimmed milk did not seem to harm him at all but there was no dramatic improvement either. Keep in mind that if we continue to poison children they are going to get worse anyway. And growing children develop more IQ and social skills which might disguise any dietary effects on their behaviour. It is all so complicated.

For the first night in YEARS, last night he went to sleep after concentration on Emergency Room. Normally his behaviour is so bad we do not watch television but bear with him while he goes through an unusual and very unsociable routine. Usually he goes through a pattern in which he is very agitated, energetic and uncomfortable, before he sleeps. Not yesterday. Usually he crawls around the futon with his head down, and other difficult to describe behaviours including lying on top me in all sorts of totally absurd styles and falls asleep on or off the futon when sleep finally comes. Not yesterday. This may be a coincidence. But I think it is an improvement. He always refused to sleep on his own. But maybe I can see the day when he will.

Experiment - test, trial, something done in the hope that is may succeed, or to test a theory.
Collins English Gem Dictionary

Note: theory - that mercury in the body, which reaches the brain, is bad for some children and manifests itself in their various difficulties, and that it is possible to remove the load of mercury they are carrying by eating foods that do not contain the menacing mercury (or other menacing metals like copper and lead) and by eating foods that traditionally are known as having the ability to take out toxic metals and other foods (which I am going to research) that supply the deficient vitamins and minerals. Even iron may be playing a part in this.

Method: prohibiting the child from eating the dangerous foods, encouraging and rewarding the eating of healthy foods, and (because of the action of eg iron), supplementing the minerals and vitamins that are lacking. (This is going to be more difficult than it sounds.)

Note 2: if the above named garlic pickle comes in a gold topped jar and a red topped jar, then children would be adviced to have the one with the gold top as the other one means that it is based on miso and therefore is not so sweet.

There is only one truth. And it is theirs. We are liars. We are crazy. Anyone who believes that the government 'mistakenly' overdosed our children with mercury and is doing all its its power to cover up with the usual 'experts' that will pop up on the internet, but it is not too late we can do something...anyone who thinks like that 'ought to report their paranoic imaginings and hallucinations to the medical officer when they go for their treatment.' The internet is 'rubbish'. The only truth is the controlled truth of the media, the latest mad craze, the latest diversion in sports, the latest fashion. Anyone interested in anything else is, by defintion, off their block and seriously deluded. That is the rules these days. You think the internet is a place of free speech outside the control of the government??? That is why it has to be called 'rubbish' 'absurd hallucinations' 'dangerous'.

Meanwhile, I am finding out a lot about the good foods and the bad foods and writing lists of 'likes and dislikes' and another list of 'good ones to try' like dry figs, Brazil nuts. Lentils are OUT. They were in, on one list, but they went and ruined their chances by popping up on another list. It is all about how they give or take good and bad metals. But it is a race against time. Will I prove that my son can get better on a diet before or after they commit me for something or other. If they can convince Princess Masako she is crazy, then they can convince anyone.

My son for the first time in five weeks wanted to go shopping on the way back from school. And then said YES when his father invited him to the grandparents across the road. And yesterday he actually came up to me and asked me what I was cooking. In Japanese. He is also trying out English and explaining his play to me. These are great improvements. But it is ALL MY IMAGINATION. I will report to the doctor on Tuesday and join the queues of 'Bush did 911' and 'We are the terrorists' where we all dare not talk to each other in case of the spies in the waiting lounges...just kidding. I will start a new line of 'people who think they have any control over illnesses that the government causes.' Maybe its a promotion, or a demotion. roflmao.gif

Right. My husband showed interest at tea time. Is this bad or good. Beef? He is mocking me. I get my notebook out, and humour him. Bad. It has got on a bad list. The tea continues. Okay, tell me all the foods that he eats and whether they are good or bad. I humour him. I get the notes out again and go through all the usual foods he eats. Eggs - okay, potato - bad, beans - bad, rice - good, seaweed (dried which he loves) I haven't found it on the lists but I have a feeling its bad because of the iron. But iron isn't on List Number One BAD metals, only on list No. 2. I reach the end of the list. He wants an argument. Oh, so what are you going to do about the fast food shop on Sundays we go to. Na na na na. I try and say that once a week potato is probably all right. Okay, he says, I want you to tell the doctor all this on Tuesday so that he can see what you are like.

No kidding!!!!!
I fell into that trap well, didn't I?

At the end my son says Copper, bad. Right says everyone, Good boy. Bath time.

If he gets better and better they will say it is nothing to do with the food.

By the way, chicken and turkey are also bad. So are most nuts, only Brazil nuts are good. But I am not a dietician. If you want a dietician to do all this work for you I don't know how you go about that in the United States but I know it is all a very profitable business in Japan and there is no way my husband is even considering it. Urine tests etc. I would have thought nothing would be more important. But Japanese people like to accept the inevitable even if it is not inevitable. They just do not like any fuss made - it is a source of shame and embarrassment. Better to commit suicide, do not lose face. To everyone in the family - apart from the closest relatives - our son goes to the normal classes at school. Only me, in my honesty, tell my friends and neighbours that we send him a little further away where there is a special class, not because we want to be different.

I wonder how many other thousands of women are in my situation only in America. Perhaps they were told that nothing could be done, that its early days yet, that there are no signs of hope, and you may as well just go and buy the Da Vinci Code, and then go and see the film and discuss that for the rest of your evenings. blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

Soy milk is bad due to the iron..however it is not that bad.. and there are things that can be given to stop the bad iron doing its job. That is something to do with Vit E (I think). Pork so far has survived the banning list.
Eggs have selenium in them so they are important.
lazyboy
Phosphates are atrocious. They are preservatives and suchlike so I suspect all canned food should be banned for autistic children.

My son likes corn, but now that cans are out that puts corn off the list until the summer.
Corn is not mentioned as bad, but wheat is bad.

Baking powder is bad.

Tomatoes are good, but remember not the tinned tomatoes.

Bran seems to be bad, and brown rice is bad. no2.gif

I am alternating the 'pretty bad' soy milk and the 'no idea' powdered milk. Looking at the iron alone that cows consume, I am wary of cow's milk. I think, but I do not know, it has mercury in it. Mercury is the worst and after that copper, and after that iron, but iron has good points like it suppresses the copper.

I want to be honest. Last night he went into some contortions before sleeping, but only for ONE MINUTE, and he never disturbed me at all, unlike before. And this is the really good news: so far every day I have had to use all kinds of things to try and rouse him from his sleep. And then we have had no time, when he finally wakes up properly, to do the breakfast, washing face etc routine. I'd have to dress him, despite his uncooperativeness, I would be near despair. This morning he woke up hours earlier. He has had breakfast and we still have a good 30 mins to spare. He is wide awake and nobody woke him.

From a non-expert who is trying to make sense of conflicting doctors reports, this is what I believe about the subject.

Children who have a genetic 'allergy' for want of a better word, to mercury, especially when given in intolerable amounts, have been poisoned. The mercury has accumulated in their brains. It has also interfered with their absorption of minerals. Copper is also accumulated there in their brains. There are drugs to take out the mercury and there are tests to see which type of metal, other than mercury, your child has been affected by. The drugs cannot react on the brain, but the mercury passes from the brain to the bloodstream and vice versa. So if you detoxify the body by giving the right chemicals, and leaving out the wrong chemicals, you will eventually bring down the levels of mercury in the brain to the normal levels. It may take a while and you may make mistakes on the way. Is iron good or bad? It is good in that it acts against the copper, but it has some bad points. But anyway, the bad effects of the iron can be stemmied by Vitamin E.
These children also need vitamin C because a. they probably do not eat it and refuse all food with it in, won't eat Vit C sweets or drink Vit C drinks. B. They need it because their bodies immune system has been hampered by something or other - I think the phosphates. My son refuses fizzy drinks point blank.
Selenium is lacking and is in bananas. He has never liked bananas. I am going to try a banana flavoured drink. Condensed milk is good because it has magnesium in it. This is another mineral that autistic children tend to lack and need. But does it have preservatives. Sugar is a preservative and there is nothing written so far (in MY research) to say that sugar is bad for these kids.

Dried figs and pumpkin seeds are also good for these children.

Once I get the levels down to tolerable levels, I believe he is cured and after that normal diets will be okay. But I am no expert. This is all my theory and I take no responsibility for your child. Do your own checking if you feel I am conning you. The government carelessly poisoned our children. I am merely trying to rectify what they did.

What to say? Another row. Husband is determined son is autistic and that saves him any bother. Just label him. And label me. I am a nut-case. To prove it are the medicines I obediently take. I asked him if, seeing as he thinks the medicines are not working, I ought to just stop the medicines. He acts like I should be dead. In Japan suicide is almost honorable. Reason, you do not get to be such a pain in the arse to people. Another reason, getting old causes others problems with what to do with you. Another reason, you make more space in the overcrowded city. There are many reasons for Japanese people to think suicide is a great option.

I tried to explain that our son ought to be able to make choices in his life, good, or bad. He has the God-given right to a normal life. My husband says that no matter what statistics I say, our son won't ever get better and I ought to remember that I am crazy and that proof is the drugs. Another detail. When they first put me on drugs, back in 2004, those drugs nearly killed me. I caused a great deal of fuss, despite being paralyzed. I forced my husband to take me to the hospital and get a vaccination that would counter the bad effects. We waited hours, me paralyzed in the arms and legs. Eventually, it was a strange doctor. He probably gave me a water injection to make me think they were curing me. It made no difference.

Days later I went for the weekly (then) appointment and demanded different drugs. I had been on those drugs for four weeks always saying that I was allergic to them and they made me unable to think, unable to read, unable to pray, unable to relax. I was in a living nightmare. I looked forward the whole day to the night when I could take the strong sleeping pills. Then, at last I would get some relief.

This is how they do it folks. Mind control. Pharmaceuticals.

I told my husband that AIDS is like AL QAEDA. It is an invention of the governments. They actually MADE it. Just like they poisoned the children. Then they use massive publicity to force people to think that AIDS is killing the most Africans, when it is the cures that the Africans are FORCED (blackmail - connecting money aid to buying western 'cures') to take that are killing them. Natural herbs, available free from weeds etc, those can cure people. Those DO cure people. But we have so much investment in pharmaceuticals. It is all a huge con. Like Al Qaeda. And anyone who is on to it gets harassed. Then, if they tell their family that they are being harrassed, the family take you STRAIGHT TO THE MENTAL HOME FOR DRUGS. baseball_bat.gif

The following two definitions come from Collins English Gem Dictionary...notice how the press, the media might figure.

Control: v.t. command, dominate; regulate; direct, check, test,....domination; restraint; direction; check, - controls n pl system of instruments to control car, aircraft etc - controllable - controller n one who controls; official controlling expenditure - control room in broadcasting station, etc - control tower n tower in airfield from which take-offs and landings are directed.

Controversy: n. dispute, debate, especially in the press, - controvert v. t. - controversial a controversialist n controvertible

Those are next to each other in the dictionary, and the next word is interesting because it is what you might do to a controller, at the risk of them having you controlled even more

Contumacy: n. stubborn disobedience

And the next word is one that would describe many peoples' language in the home and on the internet:

Contumely: insulting language or treatment; disgrace; affront; indignity. - contumelious a abusive, insolent.

They managed to 'take out' Princess Diana, the human rights activist.
They keep Aung San Suu Kyi under house arrest, while female judges in Los Angeles rule that the oil companies have every right to rape and murder the Burmese villagers.
And Princess Masako of Japan, who would have been a great peace activist before the Iraqi war, they silence her, and when she complains that she is being stifled, her husband accuses the Royal Household (non royals) of controlling her too much, and then the rest of his family all ganged up on him and demand he apologize to the servants, which he did.

They have ways and means of silencing people and they do use them.

I bought and mashed a banana but he would not even try it. But I went out later and bought some banana-flavoured milk shake cartons. He accepted one, so I pretended not to watch. He drank it. Not only that but he helped himself to another one. These (I can read some Japanese but not the kanji characters) contain magnesium and Vitamin E) so they should be encouraged. He ate ham slices while we ate chicken, and then I made bacon for breakfast which he has been eating. Pork is also okay, so most sausages are no problem.

His dad showed me some colourings he had done all correctly (red for circles, yellow for triangles etc) and it was really neat. He smiled when I went to meet him at school and he saw me (a first). He asked for an apple. He never (hardly ever) eats it normally so I just forgot that he had asked. Later he came up and just beamed a smile at me. I smiled back. Another first. Then I remembered the apple. I prepared one, but he rejected it.

The day before yesterday, apparently, his work had been so bad that his dad had binned it without even showing me.

I found some Californian dried figs in a chainstore. He rejected one offered to him.

I have yet to try the pumpkin seeds. Sunflower seeds are bad so I must be sure to get the green pumpkin seeds.

I bought some tubes of condensed milk as they contain good minerals for him and are preserved with sugar so that is not harmful to him. I am now alternating it with both the powdered and the soy milk. He is drinking them all. It is good to get him to take his cocoa in different styles because when we go to the UK the usual supplies of soy milk, and the taste of the type of powdered milk are different to Japan. Condensed milk is no problem over there.

The day before yesterday he smiled when I went to meet him and he first spotted me at school. A first. Then today he smiled at his teacher when she greeted him outside the entrance to his part of the school.

The banana milkshakes are a success. So is the ham. This morning he said 'ham' while he ate it with his fish oil capsule (which has boasted his immune system) and the sweet preserved garlic clove.

Another metal that these children lack is zinc. Zinc is expelled in the body fluids. Recommended daily intake is 5 mg. Too much can poison and cause vomiting (150mg - 450 mg)

Brazil nuts contain Vit E and zinc and also iron and copper. Not mercury. I have not located them in our shops yet. But no doubt the chainstore has them somewhere.

Phosphates added to processed food, can stop our absorption of zinc.

Another good source of zinc is pumpkin seeds. Like brazil nuts, they are less easy to buy here, though they do sell them...just not every single day of the year...and not every shop.

An orange contains 0.3 mg of zinc.

A fruit yoghurt contains 0.9 mg of zinc.

Pregnant mothers should take extra zinc.

MANGANESE

This is available in (high iron) spinach and strawberries, pineapple and tea.

It is required by autistic children.

I am finding myself looking at labels of ready to eat or drink items.
I copy out the kanji I don't understand (almost all I don't understand) and then I keep it in my learning Japanese book, and ask my son's friend's mother, my friend, Yumi, and I can then figure out what it was.
I found some pumpkin seeds for sale in the chainstore after a bit of a confab with two clerks. I was certain they were actually sunflower seeds (dangerous) and the picture of them was not clear. Got that sorted out eventually when one let slip the word Pumpkin. You would think that transparent bags had never been invented. I know pumpkins seeds are green but these looked brown on the label, and too small. These Japanese people are darned clever. They have their own words for things but they often know the English even in such unusual instances.
I am also keeping my eyes peeled for MEIJI drink machines. So many of the machines sell teas, coffees, hot and cold, or cartons of Japanese tea (cold) but so few sell fruit juices. And the only really trustworthy company (their drink machines are found in hospitals and clinics) do not have many drink machines on the streets. About a quarter of the machines are Coca Cola, and sell mainly fizzy drinks. After that there are millions of cigarette machines. But healthy drinks...come on....do they want the population to be healthy?....the NWO? No! They do their best to make it difficult to find any healthy products. The nearest MEIJI drink machine is right outside the shop in which I can buy banana juice. IE it is no nearer than the chainstore. mad.gif

On the other hand there are at least four rubbishy drink machines in one direction and at least two more in another direction approximately 1 minutes walk from my door. doh.gif

The banana juice continues to go down well. Nowadays we get 'Thank you' for whatever he is given. This is NEW. This did not start 5 weeks ago when school started. He ate fried garlic and pumpkin seeds before tea. He asked for 'Ham' then he ate that, then he later had his tea with us, rice and egg. His appetite seems to be MUCH improved. Not just cocoa all day and crisps in between, whenever he managed to sneak a packet out of the stock cupboard. (Woops! He is there now - I spoke too soon.) The pumpkin seeds were a hit.

He went to English club as usual and I was told he JOINED IN a card game. He is usually an onlooker whenever kids do anything together.

I admit he is still behaving like an autistic child, but yesterday for instance an old lady was walking along side us and asked him a few questions about school and such like. Instead of ignoring her, going all shy, or saying 'I can't hear' or blocking his ears, he just sat and let her talk, obviously aware that she and he were supposed to be having a conversation and not objecting, but saying nothing. Then, on the way back we met her and she asked which year he was in, HE SAID 'FIRST YEAR'. Quietly, but HE SAID IT TO A COMPLETE STRANGER. Well, a neighbour who had talked to him for the first time, I don't know where she even lives. I think this IS progress.

However, going out shopping he was playing in a dangerous place, I told him off. Coming home he was wanting to walk backwards in front of me on the crossing. I was angry and he knew it and then we had the usual overreaction, heaving chest and tearful eyes, very sensitive to feelings. They drive you mad and then, when you get angry, you know it may take twenty minutes of cuddling to comfort them. So they get away with lots of unsociable behaviour, because you cannot spare the time to comfort them after telling them off. A simple word won't work. They cannot understand. You have to get really mad. That is what it is like day in day out for people whose children have this syndrome.

Today was not such a good day behaviour wise. However he keeps asking for chicken and I say 'No' and give him ham, eggs, and plan on giving him a nice treat tomorrow which I found online by googling 'zinc' with 'ham' and 'pork'. It is minced pork (and I will add ham rather than the suggested beef) and put into an eggy, oniony mixture and cooked in a big red pepper with tomatoes surrounding it. There are two other great recipes for broccoli mixed with meat. One is a simple idea. Broccoli steamed and with lemon juice dressing, and strips of ham, or was it pepper? Anyway broccoli is a favorite in our house. 'Trees' is what he calls it. It has a great no. of healthy vitamins in it. The iron is medium. But iron is not such a problem, it is what it does that is the problem, but that can be righted by Vit E.

He did say 'square' and 'triangle' as he was going for his bath. He is practising new words he has learnt at English Club. That is a good sign.

www.formulaforlife - is where the good recipes are.

The pumpkin seeds are a big hit. He keeps asking for more. That is good because it takes quite a lot of them to get the daily recommended zinc intake with them. They are also good for some other reasons.

Woah! I wonder, when garlic acts like a penicillin, or a toxic metal chelater, whether it brings the metal or the other unwanted microbes out via the normal channels (downwards) or whether it sends the metals (or whatever it wants to expell) to the stomach and the stomach immediately rejects it (upwards). My son was sick this morning. It was not serious. It was not a lot either. He had not eaten anything, and had just woken up and sat around a bit. I don't want to go into any details...suffice it to say that it was not his last couple of meals, but a selected few items. Perhaps I will give the treatment a rest for a week. But I will be watching for improvements in his behaviour all of next week and report back to this thread. If things have improved, and even if they haven't, I will restart the garlic. Meantime, no garlic and no pumpkin seeds. This should give him time to readjust.
lazyboy
The rest of the week I will be sticking to no mercury or copper diet. IE. Only ham, bacon, pork, eggs, non tuna type fish, no cheeses, no cow's milk, no chicken, turkey or beef.

I will let him continue with the banana juice as that seems to be popular and contains good vitamins.

I will let him have the cocoa as requested made with the usual powdered milk, soy milk, and condensed milk, whichever is within easy reach and to add variety, in case one or other is not good for him.

For vegetables I see nothing dangerous in continuing with the nori (dried sheets of seaweed) which he has always loved, or broccoli, which is not on any 'avoid these' lists, tomatoes (fresh and either cooked or raw). I am wondering about the corn I gave him yesterday. Normally I give him tinned corn, but this time it was freeze dried. Maybe I should go back to the canned. Normally I would avoid all cans but the corn is good for him in other ways. And it is something he enjoys.

For his immune system I will continue the two capsules of fish oil which he enjoys taking so much that he reminds me when I forget to give him any.
lazyboy
FISH OILS

Inhibit the progression of cancers. They also are good for immunity. However they oxidize very easily and can add to the oxidant stress on the body. An experiment carried out in Beltsville, Maryland showed that Vitamin E could counteract this detrimental effect of fish oil.

Wikipedia lists foods which are high in antioxidants.

Broccoli, red peppers, beets, cabbage, asparagus, carrots, tomatoes, spinach,
Allspice, Cinnamon, cloves, ginger, oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme
tea
sunflower seeds, oats
Cocao and chocolate
Strawberries, red delicious and granny smith apples

Sources of Vitamin B6
Liver, chicken, fish, green beans, nutritional yeast, bananas.

So the daily four or five drinks of cocoa might be making up for the fish oil having an oxidizing effect.

I said earlier that soy milk contains quite a lot of iron.
Iron increases the getting rid of zinc. Zinc is what autistic children seem to have little of.
The cause could be a digestive system that does not deal normally with the iron.
The negative effects of iron, and I believe the zinc excretion is a negative effect, can be countered by high levels of Vitamin E.

Banana-flavoured drinks, and soy milk are therefore more than okay.

I have been out and bought a supplement of Vit E rather than mineral supplements. The reason being that mineral supplements come in hard pills, which I am certain my son won't touch let alone swallow. He may even choke trying to swallow it with a drink. The Vit E, however, comes in capsules. He is used to the fish oil capsules. He took the Vit E one without any fuss at all.

I tried to get him to drink pineapple juice, because I had not an apple juice handy, and he requested apple. He tasted the pineapple juice and rejected it, which is a pity. Later I had defrozen child's sized drink of apple juice which he drank.

Going to the shop he was better than usual on his bike with stabilizers. He did not deliberately ride in swerve patterns, and while I was shopping he waited patiently on the wide pavement outside the shop. I was worried about leaving him, but he would not come in, and I kept looking out and he was okay.

It is Sunday so the Chemist was off duty. Just as well, because I could pick and choose what I wanted without the bother of explaining a million things to him in broken Japanese.

There seems to be lots of money to be made in promoting a healthy lifestyle, judging by the promotional video. You can even work for them and get great free holidays!!

This makes you wonder if it is all a big con...but don't be negative. I emailed the first people I mentioned and asked for support and advice...and information on their drinks.

What a sh'##y day it's been. Rain and poo poo and diarhoea. We went to the toilet about 100 times. Started off solid, went into squids and then ended solid. We also went out twice so he is not at all sick. He chats away. He was also sick a second time. He brought up the cocoa that he had had today. 'Garlic!' he said. My husband was out fortunately. He came in and said 'No more garlic.' Well, anyway, the garlic must have done some good. My husband said 'Yes, his head is fixed, but his stomach is now broken!'
We later went out and fed birds when the sun came out. And now its been a couple of hours, and he's playing on the verandah just fine. He replaced the fluids with about three cocoas. All the while today he has been chatting a lot to me. He made me practice 'Do you like....' 'Yes, I do' 'No I don't' while we were on the loo for about 10 mins during the crisis. This is something he must be learning at English Club.

PLAN B

Vitamin C
I read all about a detoxification plan that centres around vitamin C. You load up the person with this vitamin and it clears them of all toxins, in particular mercury.
Okay, not this week or next week. But some time. And a word of caution: vitamin C also increases the getting rid of zinc. So you need supplements of zinc put into the system before you even begin the treatment.
lazyboy
Okay. He was sick again - a lot all at once - when my husband was in. I see pumpkin seeds. My husband says 'No more cocoa.' This is ridiculous. It was not the garlic, because he has been on that a week. He loved the garlic and was not sick. He has been on the same cocoa for several weeks (MEIJI) and I am SURE it is not that. He only took Vit E after he was sick and all that. So it isn't that. And the fish oil he has been on for at least two or three months. So it must be the pumpkin seeds or the soy milk, or condensed milk. I am certain it is the pumpkin seeds.
Now he is drinking small doses of Sports drink. He is still looking very well. He is up and about playing. The plan is now to cut out pumpkin seeds and see if he improves and if not cut out the two milks and introduce one back at a time to see which is the culprit, if any.
