Why? Because as I've said before...here...I am a man of principle. If I believe power corrupts, and I do, and that total power corrupts totally as in the GOP controlling the federal government, how could I wish ill will upon my own party to become as corrupt on the state level?
I am not foolish enough nor naive enough to think Democrats are corruption proof.
