The Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act of 2006 is legislation supported by the NRA that will keep legal firearms in the possession of lawful gun owners, during the time of natural disaster. Thus, allowing lawful citizens to protect their homes and families during times of rampant civil disobedience. This legislation was passed overwhelmingly by both Houses of Congress and signed into law by President Bush.



There were sixteen NO votes in the Senate. Sixteen Senators (all Democrats) who believe you do not have the right nor should you have the means to protect yourself, your loved ones or your property during perilous times.
