So here it is.

To a small business owner, an increased minimum wage is money out of his pocket. I can understand why that person might bristle at the idea.

On the other hand, the EIC which was started under the Reagan admin many years ago, SUPPLEMENTS with federal dollars that old low wage the business owner is paying.

In other words, the business owner is not affected, but the employee gets a fatter pay packet.
