I came to the realization how the media was controlling what we think during the recount of the 2000 election. Due to surgery on my hands, I was both home and somewhat handicapped. I watched allot of live coverage of events only to find you could hardly recognize them on newscasts. I was constantly saying, wait a minute. You're giving a false perception of what really happened. Many times that perception was opposite of what actually transpired. I have never been the same since. If not for that realization I would never have ended up on the Kerry forum, which brought me here. I am in search of the truth and will never take for granted that anything reported in the media represents the truth. I will always question and always search.
