When it comes to The War...it's about the troops.

Fact is...it's the guys on the left, the right, and those
in front (if you hesitate, and let 'em get there)....

As an old man I argue justification...it's my place now.

But my heart, until it stops tickin', is with those 20-somethings
who execute this nation's "mission" with honor.

Until we find a diplomatic solution, which is our calling...
we must segregate other issues of funding for the troops.

I could stand to gain from political "riders" on the
military "special appropriations bill", but I won't ask.
If offered funds for my jurisdiction as a rider...
well they can kiss my Rebel ass.

Democrats should not make this mistake...
open this door...a resolution to stop the war
is more honorable than adding pet projects
to the military appropriations bill.

Somebody call the DNC - preferrably a vet.
