A while back I opened a thread with an idea for Personal Censoring DVD Players

A company called ClearPlay had been developing the idea since 2004 and was battling with lawsuits. I just saw the players in a retail store. I was imagining a technology licensed to every major DVD player manufacturer, but I guess they found it more profitable to manufacture their own players.
