Full Version: UMass Scientist: Official story of 9/11 is
Common Ground Common Sense > Issues that Affect Our Lives > 9/11: Theories, etc.
Magmak1
"The 9/11 tragedy is the most successful and most perverse publicity stunt in the history of public relations. I arrive at this conclusion largely as the result of the research and clear writing by David Ray Griffin in his fabulous books about 9/11. I first met him when he was a speaker at a scholarly conference unrelated to 9/11. He immediately impressed me as a brilliant, outstanding philosopher - theologian - author, a Whiteheadian scholar motivated by an intense curiosity to know everything possible about the world.

On the plane home and for the next two days I did little else but read Griffin’s first book about 9/11, The New Pearl Harbor. From there I went on to read his even more disturbing account of the bogus 9/11 Commission Report, The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions, which provides overwhelming evidence that the official story is contradictory, incomplete, and unbelievable.

It is clear to me that David Ray Griffin and his fellow critics are correct: the 9/11 "new Pearl Harbor" was planned in astonishing detail and carried out through the efforts of a sophisticated and large network of operatives. It was more complex and far more successful than the Allende assassination, the US bombing of our own ship the "Maine" that began the Spanish-American war (and brought us Guam, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Philippines), the Reichstag fire that was used to justify the suspension of most civil liberties in Germany in the 1930's, and even Operation Himmler, which was used by Germany to justify the invasion of Poland, which started World War II.

Whoever is responsible for bringing to grizzly fruition this new false-flag operation, which has been used to justify the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as unprecedented assaults on research, education, and civil liberties, must be perversely proud of their efficient handiwork. Certainly, 19 young Arab men and a man in a cave 7,000 miles away, no matter the level of their anger, could not have masterminded and carried out 9/11: the most effective television commercial in the history of Western civilization.

I suggest that those of us aware and concerned demand that the glaringly erroneous official account of 9/11 be dismissed as a fraud and a new, thorough, and impartial investigation be undertaken. "

Geosciences?

Closer to the matter at hand than theology, I suppose!

He exploded, he exploded!

So we should not ridicule anything anyone says about 911?

Even if that someone is George Bush or Dick Cheney?

I would not ridicule this scientist from my Alma Mater, and I would have to investigate more of what he said to say much one way or the other about the merits of what he says.

But I would not put special weight on the credibility of what he says, because of his particular credentials. I would assume that he is a pretty smart guy. So I would have to measure what he says vs. what other smart people say.

At least I know what I say here won't be ridiculed!

Or a pretty smart lady. So I would have to measure what she says against what other smart people say.

If I didn't know better, I would have thought that you were making a joke!

Actually, everyone who argues that the official story is 100percent correct, should before making any statements read the entire book by Dr. Griffin, then specifically argue the broad point he is saying.

Because until you read the book, to argue is to just try to make sure no one is talking about it.

Those that don't believe the official story, do so because they saw it live time or on tv, and theyknow that there is no way the official story, once looked at in its entirety, can in any way be true.
It's just Common Sense.

... at your expense?

If you can't be clear on the gender of the person mentioned in the thread (along with "her" publications)(and her picture was available at the link provided), then it begs the question as to whether you read, or whether you comprehend what you read, before you respond. (At the same time, you hold yourself out as an individual capable of logical discernment of the fine points of the discussion in order to moderate that discussion.) But I'm not picking on you, Arneoker; you aren't the only person, and won't be the last person, to fail to read or comprehend, or to post mindlessly.

Of course, we all make mistakes, and I certainly am no different that way, even with my position as moderator, which some may think is a much more exalted role than it actually is.

I do hold myself out as a person able to contribute a good point or two at times, but maybe that is arrogant on my part. I also have this idea that many others share this ability that I am under the impression that I have. (Perhaps only a very few can make real contributions that way? Well, people will have to decide on that one.)

I have this question. Do you think that my point on the meaning of her credentials was invalid because I got her gender wrong? That has been the primary point of my comments on this thread. I did not comment on that brief statement of hers that you provided and is on that link.
