Dy. Charlie Pxxxx will be off Friday, Saturday & Sunday Sept. 21, 22, 23, 2007. Charlie's son, Christopher "Chris" Pxxxx is in the U.S. Army (101st Air Bourne) and will be deployed to Iraq very soon for his second tour of duty. Chris will be gone for at least 15 months. Charlie will be flying to Fort Campbell, Ky. to visit Chris and return home with Chris' wife so that she can live with Charlie and Donna during the time that Chris is gone. Chris will be going to the "Anbar Province" area of Iraq which if you watch the news you will know that this is a very hostile region of Iraq for our troops.

On behalf of Charlie, I ask that everyone include the Pxxxx family, especially Christopher and the rest of our troops in your prayers and pray for a safe return home.

Sgt. Glynn T. Cxxxx TP-116

Enforcement Division

(Mathew 5:9, Ezekiel 25:17)

Not being up on my verse numbers, I checked:

Matt 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Ezekiel 25:17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes;
and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

Kinda like the hopes and the duties of men in their youth. The way they pray for
things to be and the attitude they must take when they go to war. Lord have mercy.

I'll also loan him my prayer:

Lord whatever happens...whether I live or die,
please don't let me kill any non-combatants
before I stand before you.

May God keep him in His care. Praying for a quick and safe return home.

Methinks I know the feelin' of waitin' and prayin' for someone's safe return. I got one just went back over for her third time, she's in Diyala with the Marine RCT. BTW, she says they're makin' a lot more progress than we're hearin' 'bout back here, eh?

Godspeed to him and may the angels watch over him.

I hope he feels the sense of being part of an endeavor to make the world a better place.

He probably sees it as his duty. A waste of such dedication is a sin.
I hope "the leadership" is worth his service...tonight, I doubt it.

Leadership must be worth service...or else it is...blasphemy.
That is the sin for which there is no forgiveness, according to my faith.

I'm hot because of Republican distain for the Webb amendment.
That's how it is.

I didn't see this thread before. I will add my positive thoughts IH. He is a Soldier of America, and I honor him. May he return safely to those who love him.
