In less in 24 hours FCC chair Kevin Martin will be making his pathetic decision relaxing media ownership rules and believe me the whole media consolidation mess the republicans have been doing for years will be even more haywired.

Consolidation of media ownership was achieved by the Communications Act of 1996, signed by Hillary's husband.

Truth be told.

My bad.
Just Thinking
It is not just BIG MEDIA.

I am currently visiting in a highly Republican area. When there was going to be the Democratic Caucus for the first time in history in Nebraska. The local paper editior/owner who controlls 2 papers and 1/2 the county that way. DID NOT Print one word about it, or when or where, it was going to be held.. He had received 2 press releases about it. But not even one small paragraph.

However, he managed to take the entire front page and 1/2 the back to promote and praise the "Anti Abortion March" Including loads of pictures, etc.

That is the unbiased or liberal media? What a joke. thumbdown.gif
graham4anything
again I use the example of Al Gore's major speech 4or 5 years ago now, Martin Luther King Jr. Day at
NYC Campus on East4th. street in NYC blasting Bush and the war.

And NY's paper of record, the thought of LIBERAL (yeah right) NY Times did not print one word of it.

1 mile from their offices. NOT ONE WORD

Yet that day, they had a petty Hillary (their candidate this year and every year) article on page one

Yeah...media sucks here

The first thing President Obama should do is reestablish what was in place BEFORE BILL but I bet its too late
to turn back now.
